No formal qualifications are required for a cover supervisor position, so if youre an aspiring teacher, or just feel youd be a great fit for the role wed love to hear from you today

What skills should you have?

  • A positive and driven attitude & a keen desire to positively impact students learning journey
  • A strong classroom presence and confidence in managing behaviour, keeping classes on track with lesson plans
  • Calmness and positivity when faced with challenging situations, adaptability to cover a range of subjects

What will my responsibilities be?

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons plans across a range of different subjects and age groups, covering KS3 and KS4
  • Upholding the schools behaviour policy and ensuring you maintain a positive and productive learning environment
  • Keeping students engaged and on task, offering additional support where necessary
