Scor has a global presence with business operations in 30 countries. The Head of BR will establish a global program to enhance or develop new protective, responsive and recovery capabilities. For this, he/she will collaborate with a various number of Comex functions and establish the roadmap of the program using a business-centric approach.

The Head of BR will improve Scor’s ability to sustain operational stress and the organization’s readiness to respond and recover from crisis events. He/She will set up an operational crisis management team with the relevant Comex functions and regularly conduct crisis exercises of different nature.

Finally, the Head of BR will also ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations that are directly or indirectly connected to the BR domain. He/She will act as a subject matter expert in various areas (e.g., business continuity of critical suppliers).

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement a new BR target operating model
  • Establish a global BR program with a dedicated governance and involving the relevant stakeholders, and develop the BR roadmap for Scor
  • Review and enhance the Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) processes and implement a global platform to support these processes
  • Develop and conduct BR trainings for all relevant parties in the organization
  • Collaborate with IT to align Business and IT Service Continuity
  • Set up a dedicated initiative to address the total loss of technology scenario (e.g. cyber) and a roadmap to build the required recovery capabilities
  • Prepare and conduct regular crisis management exercises for the group
  • Act as a SME to other functions (e.g., Procurement) to ensure a sound governance where needed and ii) participate in interactions with critical suppliers and regulators
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in similar roles within a global financial institution
  • Very good understanding of Operational Resilience and BCM regulations
  • Excellent understanding of the BIA and BCP processes
  • Very good knowledge of IT service continuity and cyber resilience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
