Are you looking for an apprenticeship working for a leading manufacturer in Stoke on Trent where you will be trained as a Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician at a leading Ceramics manufacturer. This is a formal apprenticeship with support from the businesses Engineering Team

As an Apprentice your role will initially involve:

  • Setting up machines, configuring them according to specific job requirements, adjusting components and machine parameters
  • Operating machines, closely monitoring them to maintain efficiency and quality, and resolving any issues to help meet production targets
  • Maintain the machinery, which will involve cleaning, lubricating, and replacing any worn parts
  • Identify any issues when machines malfunction
  • Ensuring safety protocols and regulations are adhered to
  • Quality checking - measuring, testing and visually inspecting parts and products to ensure they meet the required specifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation for the machine settings, production runs, maintenance tasks, and any issues encountered during the production run
