Research assistant (m/f/d) in the field of vectorization and data integration
(E 11 TV-L, part-time with 19.The position will be filled on a temporary basis in accordance with Section 14 (2) of the Part-Time and Fixed-Term Employment Act. We are looking for a colleague (m/f/d) in the field of vectorization and data integration who would like to strengthen our interdisciplinary team of developers (m/f/d) and interaction designers (m/f/d) and has sound knowledge and practical experience in the field of current programming in the field of data integration and generative AI.
Our goal is to make the extensive data of our project catalog accessible and editable via our AI interface HAWKI
Further development and maintenance of our existing MySQL databases by optimizing queries, indexing tables and implementing vector data (embedding) as well as the administration interfaces (e.g. dashboard, reports, etc.)
Interdisciplinary work with tools such as Figma to implement UI/UX standards
Completed university degree in computer science, creative coding or a related technology-based degree program
Comprehensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, modern web frameworks as well as PHP, MySQL and the development of database architectures and implementation of vector data (embedding)
Experienced use of design tools such as Figma and knowledge of UI/UX design principles
