Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Girls PE Teacher on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the physical education and overall well-being of students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of female students.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and promotes physical fitness.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to facilitate their growth and improvement in various sports and physical activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in Physical Education.
- Experience teaching PE to secondary school students, preferably within a girls' school environment.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in a variety of sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Organisational skills to effectively plan lessons, manage resources, and coordinate extracurricular activities.
- Commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and respect within the school community.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily rate of £150 - £200. In addition to a supportive work environment, this role offers valuable experience and the opportunity to positively impact the lives of young people.
