Find out more about our culture of flexible working .We give you a world of potentialThe GlobalInformation Security (GIS) team is responsible for driving thedevelopment, deployment, monitoring and management of information andcyber security across the Computershare businesses, globally.

Throughpartnerships with the business units, Technology Services and othersupport functions, the Global Information Security team activelysupports the business objectives whilst reducing the overall compositerisk to Computershare.The Global Security Operations teamis responsible for delivering a comprehensive portfolio of technicalsecurity control and monitoring services across all the globalComputershare environments.A role you will loveGIS is on the lookout for a Principle Security Operations Analyst (SOC ).The Principle SOC Analyst is responsible forresponding to escalated alerts, notification, communications andproviding incident response activities such as tracking the incident,communication with stakeholders, remediation and recovery actions andreporting.

Ensure reports are properly entered into the incidenttracking system and coordinate with the impacted parties/stakeholdersto gain full understanding of the event.

Expected to have knowledge ofcybersecurity incidents, anomaly analysis, log analysis, digitalforensics, common threat vectors and be able to comprehend reports anddetermine what additional action and response activities may berequired to resolve an incident.

Follow established SOP’s, policiesand other procedures for escalation.This role is part of aglobal team of information security professionals that deliverin-depth technical security services for our most criticalapplications and infrastructure to ensure that they are highlyresilient against existing and emerging cyber security threats.ResponsibilitiesThe overall purpose of the role isto ensure that the Security Operations Centre achieves its operationalobjectives by monitoring and implementing operational processes,practices, and standards of the SOC.

By having a Principle SOC Analyston the team, we ensure that we have an SME to support SOC Analysts aswell as support key projects and initiatives.The role willbe responsible for:Detect incidents through proactive“hunting” across security-relevant data sets.Manage andcoordinate between GIS and other departments to ensure an effectiveresponse to cyber incidents.Support/develop reports during andafter incidents, which include all actions taken to properly mitigate,recover and return operations to normal operations.Creates closeprofessional partnerships with peers in Security Engineering and CyberThreat Intelligence.Develops, delivers, and provides analysis onkey security metrics e.g., MTTD, MTTR on a regular basis, and uponrequest, to the Security Governance team.Maintain aforward-looking perspective on emerging security and technologydevelopments and work with the Security Architecture team to researchand evaluate additional technologies.Initiate change,identifying opportunities for improving the service and managing theimplementation of continuous improvement / new ideas andapproaches.Recognise and act pro-actively to exploit futureopportunities or to mitigate future problems.Understands andapplies industry best practice and innovative thinking, to enhanceexisting, and develop new, monitoring and analytics processes.Establish and maintain strong, collaborative working relationshipswith global and regional technology infrastructure, application, andarchitecture teams.What will you bring to the role?Global SOC Environment ExperienceSecurity MonitoringToolsFinancial backgroundPossess one of more of thefollowing professional certifications:CISSPCISMAt Computershare, we offer a supportive and collaborative workenvironment where you can make a real impact.
