Job title - Landscaping Estimator

Are you an experienced Landscaping Estimator? Our client is seeking a dedicated Estimator to join their team working on high-end Domestic contracts. As an Estimator, you'll play a key role crucial role in ensuring that landscaping projects are accurately scoped, competitively priced, and financially viable.
Working closely with clients, landscape architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, develop design plans, and establish timelines and budgets for implementation.
• Hiring, training, and supervising landscaping crews and subcontractors. Procuring materials, equipment, and supplies needed for landscaping projects. Monitoring inventory levels, tracking expenses, and managing budgets to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Overseeing all aspects of landscaping work to ensure that design specifications and quality standards are met. Providing training on safety procedures and best practices to prevent accidents and minimize risks on-site.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the duration of landscaping projects. Providing updates on project progress, addressing client concerns or inquiries, and ensuring that client expectations are met or exceeded.
• Anticipating potential challenges or obstacles that may arise during landscaping projects and implementing solutions to overcome them. Resolving issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
• Managing logistics such as site access, transportation of materials and equipment, and waste disposal. Coordinating with subcontractors, utility companies, and other service providers to ensure smooth project operations.
• Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including work orders, change orders, progress reports, and budget updates. Generating comprehensive project documentation for internal and client review.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains within the landscaping department. Implementing best practices and innovative techniques to enhance project outcomes and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a Landscaping Estimator who has the following skills and qualifications:
• Full UK Driver's License is essential
• 3 years in the Landscaping industry.
• Experience in Estimating Large scale Landscaping projects
• Educated to Degree / OND / HND or similar in construction, quantity surveying, landscape construction, or horticulture.
