Job Title: Financial Controller

Location: Worcestershire

Are you an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional looking for a challenging role in a dynamic small business environment? We are seeking a skilled Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all aspects of the company's financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  2. Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  4. Analyze financial data and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.
  5. Develop and implement financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
  6. Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and objectives.
  7. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  8. Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders as needed.
The Successful Applicant:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
