This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Supplier Manager and Group Head of Procurement in delivering the business’ Supplier Management Strategy during an exciting time of significant transformational change. This is a management and enablement role for the Group, which requires the ability to drive value from the supply chain, develop and maintain strategic relationships and deliver a number of high profile, complex, project activities.
Supporting Senior Supplier Manager with the embedding of a centralised supplier management framework
Proactively managing the strategic partners to optimise performance, drive innovation, adhere to responsible business best practice and minimise risk exposure. Deliver long term strategic planning that aligns with the business’ goals and strategic objectives
Supporting the development, documentation and continuous improvement of supplier management tools & templates, policies, procedures and processes in line with best practice, ensuring accurate and auditable records and a consistent reliable approach
Previous, relevant experience of strategic supplier management and contract management
Ability to identify and track benefits realization opportunities, supplier performance, and forecasting & financial planning
Knowledge of supplier management principles, models and tools
Previous experience of the use of S2P technology in the management of suppliers
