First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) is a housing association which owns and manages around 11,500 homes across Oldham and the surrounding areas. FCHO’s mission is to be a trusted provider of quality homes, deliver excellent landlord and support services, and create thriving and independent communities.

We are seeking a dynamic Director of Asset Delivery to join our Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Executive Director - Homes , this crucial role will oversee our strategies related to Asset Delivery, Property Care, and Neighbourhood Care. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional performance and provide clear leadership to Heads of Service, fostering collaboration with senior management and external partners to achieve our strategic objectives.

Vision and Leadership: Provide strategic leadership to the Asset Delivery, Property Care, and Neighbourhood Care teams, cultivating a customer-focused culture and fostering an environment of constructive challenge and service improvement.
Service Delivery: Direct the delivery of front-line services in Asset Delivery, Property Care, and Neighbourhood Care, ensuring exceptional performance through strategic planning, objective setting, audit and regulation, performance management, and partnership working.
Policy Development: Lead the development and evaluation of strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve corporate aims, improve outcomes, and deliver high-quality, value-for-money homes and services.
Contract Management: Oversee contracts with external clients and partners, ensuring they align with FCHO’s strategic goals and compliance standards.
Financial Management: Produce and manage business plans, operational plans, and budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and operations.
Continuous Improvement: Demonstrate continuous improvement, value for money, effective project management, and best environmental practices.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, service standards, and performance targets.
Performance Management: Lead performance management efforts, ensuring teams align with organisational aims, objectives, and service standards.
Develop high-performing teams, fostering skill development and motivation to achieve service delivery objectives.

Relevant qualifications in Housing Management/Asset Management.
Practical working knowledge of the social housing sector.
Proven experience in delivering high-quality services with a focus on continuous improvement and value for money.
Effective leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, budgets, and performance at a senior level.
Strong communication, customer service, and stakeholder management skills.
