A Business Systems Applications Engineer, who will provide technical support for our vast and varied portfolio of applications, whilst playing an integral part in our adoption of cloud technologies.
Business Systems Solutions is a technology function focused on delivering systems and solutions to the Business. The Business Systems Applications team utilises various technologies to provide custom built solutions or implement 3rd party products and services to support processes to drive effectiveness, efficiency, scalability and sustainability.
You will play a key role in supporting these tools and their users, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting through to resolution. This role is eligible for in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Experience of implementing, supporting and upgrading business systems and applications, whilst having an understanding of their architecture.
Acting as the first point of contact for our internal teams with business systems related issues, assisting with the support, maintenance and deployment of these systems.
Being an SME for a given toolset recommending features and functions to the internal team and Business.
Providing an on-call capability as part of a rota, to support key applications out of hours.
Overseeing testing and deployment of software or application patches and upgrades to ensure compliance, security and support levels are maintained.
Ensuring availability of our systems through monitoring and reporting for both on premise and cloud hosted solutions.
Working collaboratively with business users, internal teams and external vendors to provide the best possible solution to the Business.
