Senior Design Manager

Salary: Depending on experience

Type: Full time, Permanent

Remarkable Jobs have partnered with a leading RC framework construction company, to support the recruitment of a Senior Design Manager.

The Senior Design Manager will oversee all aspects of project design delivery, including contract obligations, program management, procurement, design detail, construction, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. They will ensure compliance with client requirements, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to project timelines.

The Senior Design Manager will interface with internal stakeholders such as Managing Director, Executive Director, Commercial Director, as well as external stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and service providers.

Senior Design Manager Key Responsibilities:

Understand and fulfil contract obligations related to design delivery.
Develop and manage design programs in alignment with project timelines.
Ensure design details meet project specifications and cost constraints.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
Oversee business processes and general administration related to design.
Senior Design Manager Key Skills:

Valid CSCS Card.
Experience in design and engineering construction.
Knowledge of building regulations and health & safety regulations.
Strong understanding of the planning process.
