JSS are partnering with a Boutique Retail Bank who are currently looking to hire a Regulatory Reporting Accountant. This candidate will be responsible for regulatory report production and be heavily involved in regulatory change projects. This is a great opportunity for those looking to take on the responsibility of the reporting function and be involved in automation and efficiency increasing projects.

The right candidate will be looking to:

  • Play a key role in the preparation of regulatory reporting including COREP, FINREP, Bank of England and PRA returns.
  • Assist with the identification and management of changes to reporting processes driven by the regulator and the business.
  • Create, maintain and improve procedures.
  • Test and assess the effectiveness of key controls to ensure the regulatory reporting control framework remains robust and fit for purpose.
  • Work closely with the bank's finance, risk, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and address potential regulatory issues and provide recommendations for resolution.

This business are looking for:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent
  • Proven experience owning the production of Prudential Regulatory reporting
  • Prior experience in regulatory change
  • The ability to improve efficiencies and automate processes where possible
  • Strong knowledge of the PRA rulebook
  • A self starter mindset with the ambition to work autonomously and proactively improve the reporting function
