CRA Safety Case Engineer Position
CRA are looking for experienced safety case engineers to join our growing team. If you are a safety professional seeking a new challenge, we would like to hear from you. Opportunities are available in our offices in Glasgow, Warrington, and London. We also offer home-based working for those located elsewhere.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for self-motivated, passionate safety professionals to enhance our safety case capability. Specific skills and experience we are seeking include:
# Waste and Decommissioning Licensing and Regulation
# Pressurised Water Reactors
# Internal and External Hazards assessment

Development and Support

Role Overview
As a senior safety case engineer at CRA, you will lead projects across the UK nuclear industry. Your responsibilities may include working on new build projects, supporting operating facilities, as well as decommissioning and waste management projects. Additionally, you will play a role in business development by building client relationships and supporting project bids.
Qualifications
To qualify for this role, you should have:
A Degree (or relevant work experience) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Significant experience (typically 7+ years) in safety assessments for nuclear facilities
A detailed understanding of UK regulatory requirements and international standards related to Nuclear Safety Assessment
