Are you an experienced Production Manager looking for a new challenge in the food industry? With a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, our client is ready to deliver exceptional products to their customers. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production operations within the factory. Your key responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating production activities, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, optimising efficiency, and leading a team of production staff to achieve production targets. You will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production plans and targets.
Ensure production processes are executed efficiently while maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.
Collaborate with the Planning Department to develop and implement production schedules and workflow processes to optimise efficiency.
Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Lead and motivate production staff to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to production supervisors and frontline staff, including training and performance feedback.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards for food safety and hygiene.
Implement and enforce best practises for equipment maintenance, hygiene, and safety protocols.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production needs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production department to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Prepare regular reports on production performance for management review.
