Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne Start Date: Immediate Start Salary: £110 - £130 per day (depending on experience) TeacherActive are proud to be working with excellent secondary schools based in and around Newcastle Upon Tyne. The schools are keen to see their students achieve with a strong focus on creating a positive learning environment. We are currently seeking a cover supervisor who can confidently manage challenging behaviour in a classroom of Key Stage 3 / KS3 or Key Stage 4 / KS4 students. The successful cover supervisor will have the ability to deliver a lesson plan and ensure the students complete work set out by the teacher. It is essential as a cover supervisor that you can engage with students and offer additional support where required. A successful Cover Supervisor will have: Degree in education (desirable) Behavioural management experience (desirable) Classroom management experience Clear understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection In return you can expect excellent benefits and rewards: A dedicated team of consultants available to help you with the on-boarding process.
