Job Title: Project Manager-Delivery

Salary: Circa £60k depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Influencing the development of strategy and engage across a wide stakeholder group internal and external to BAE Submarines
  • Creating, adapting and developing project plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
  • Delivery of agreed integrated Enablement Plan for the programme
  • Developing and implementing appropriately tailored practices within the project management team, influencing the development of strategy within the enablement team, including control of resource and policy formulation
  • Accountable for the budget, performance and results of the enablement team
  • Providing leadership to own team, training members and monitoring their quality of work

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • APM Qualification or equivalent by experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Project Management tools, techniques and practices
  • Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to influence decisions
  • Ability to resolve and guide others in solving complex project related issues

Desirable:

  • Understanding of Submarines business

The SSNA Enablement team:

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in shaping the future scope of work and the team, and to influence the establishment of the AUKUS Programme. This is a diverse role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. This role involves supporting the creation and delivery of an integrated plan to deliver enablement of the programme working across multiple partners and key business functions including IM&T , Export Control, and Security for the AUKUS Programme. This role will require facilitation of workshops, large meetings and assisting in producing strategy papers. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
