We are an innovative high-tech next-generation telecommunications start-up based in the Surrey area, actively seeking exceptionally talented engineers to join our dynamic team.
As part of this role, your focus will span the entire development lifecycle, from concept through to volume production. You will be engaged in every aspect of the development process to ensure successful outcomes.
We are seeking candidates with a flexible working attitude, a team player who can also demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility in a dynamic environment.
Design and develop power supply systems for telecoms radio products, considering factors such as efficiency, reliability, thermal management, and regulatory compliance.
# Perform power budget analysis and optimization for the complete Radio product.
# Design and develop Power Supply circuits and systems for telecom products, including DC-DC converters, EMI filters, Surge protectors, and Reverse Power protection circuits.
# Select appropriate components and technologies for power supply implementations, considering cost and availability.
# Conduct simulations and modeling to ensure the performance and stability of power supply designs.
# Conduct testing and validation of power supply systems, identifying and addressing any issues during the development process.
# Lead the product testing phases to regulatory standards including EMC, Surge, Safety, vibration, and Environmental.
# Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering or related fields.
Over 8 years’ proven Industrial experience in PSU circuit design, with a focus on telecom Radio products.
In-depth knowledge of power electronics, including DC-DC converters, voltage regulators, and power management circuits, EMI filter, Surge protection, and reverse power protection circuits.
SPICE) and design software for power electronics.
Experience with power supply designs for outdoor and harsh environmental conditions.
Proficiency in PCB layout and design for power electronics.
