About us

Buckingham Park Church of England Primary School is a new school at the heart of the Buckingham Park development just North of Aylesbury town centre. It is our mission is to provide the highest quality all round education, for each and every child, in partnership with parents, within the context of a Christian community. Above all, we want to be a great local school for local families.

The school is based in the town of Aylesbury, at the centre of Buckingham Park, a large housing development at the northern side of the town centre. The school is inclusive to all and provides a high quality, broad and balanced curriculum, which is appropriate for children of all abilities, irrespective of their ethnicity, social background or faith. Our admission policy reflects this by prioritising local children.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right training, experience and skills to be a part of our school. We are looking a talented, enthusiastic and innovative class teacher to join our staff team. We want to hear from teachers who are interested in teaching across our school, in the Early Years, Key Stage 1 or 2. We will consider applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers. We will assess all teachers’ strengths and experience at the end of each year before reallocating staff.

We have a new teacher vacancy available for September 2024. We allocate class responsibilities for each year according to the background, experience, preference and skills of our teachers and the needs of our children. We want all teachers to be developed fully so there will be opportunities to teach in other year groups as your career develops – across all key stages.

We want to appoint an outstanding teacher who will do everything they can for the children of Buckingham Park School. We are looking for candidates who:

- are creative in delivering outstanding lessons within an extremely positive and stimulating learning environment
- are committed to raising standards and passionate about enabling all children to reach their full potential
- are hardworking, well organised team players
- can build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community
- are willing to participate fully in school life, share good practice with colleagues and be able to lead a curriculum subject across the school
