Our professional responsibility is to reduce the risk of infection to others as far as possible. The Trust will provide advice, guidance and support on vaccinations and access to vaccinations where requested.
The National OPD pathway is a collection of services based in prisons and probation where NHS and HMPPS work together to increase wellbeing and reduce the risk of offenders whilst improving knowledge and attitudes of staff.
Support to Succeed is community-based providing support to offender managers through consultation, formulation and joint working and offering psychologically-informed intervention and risk management for those leaving prison.
This includes a drop-in and hub service with activities and psycho-education/skills groups currently in development. The IIRMS service is currently working from home but we have received funding for a base so this will be located around Exeter.
You will have the opportunity to deliver both operational management and clinical interventions and support continued development and delivery of the service, working alongside NHS, probation and prison staff.
You will line manage NHS staff with other managerial responsibilities and will carry out clinical duties including holding a case load, completing formulations, 1:1 outreach and facilitation of groups.
We will support you to learn the skills you need to thrive and will offer you training and development to continue a fulfilling career. In return, you will need to be motivated, flexible and eager to learn.
There is lots of space given to supervision, reflective practice and opportunities for training, in acknowledgement of how challenging this work can be.
