Crown Energy is seeking a motivated Utility Account Manager to join their team in Bury, Greater Manchester. The role requires managing client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

Crown Energy specialises in providing comprehensive electricity, gas and water utility services, from connections to disconnections, alterations, diversions, and removals. Our Utility Account Managers offer a complete end-to-end service, ensuring every aspect of utility infrastructure is handled with precision and care.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven sales, project, or account management track record, excellent communication and negotiation skills. A good understanding of the utility connections industry and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are also crucial.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients regarding utility connections
  • Identify new business opportunities, meet and exceed sales targets, and negotiate contracts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and performance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales and account management, preferably in the utility industry
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in bespoke CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite

This is a Monday-to-Friday role, with no weekend or evening work, a Christmas shutdown, and an early finish every Friday at 3pm.
