Harvard Library is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Digital Course Reserves Accessibility Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting digital accessibility by remediating PDFs for course reserves and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards. Subject expertise and language skills are highly desirable. This position will report directly to the Digital Course Reserves Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Remediate PDFs to ensure compliance with digital accessibility standards, guidelines, and best practices under the supervision of the Digital Accessibility Specialist.

· Collaborate with library staff and instructors to identify and prioritize content requiring remediation.

· Contribute to the digital accessibility team by providing subject expertise and language skills as needed.

· Maintain accurate records of completed and ongoing workflows.

· Attend training sessions and meetings related to digital accessibility as required.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Subject expertise and/or language skills relevant to the assigned projects are highly desirable.
