Engineering Manager – Configuration management

Planning of all activities relating to configuration management and release for the Dreadnought program via a configuration management plan
Design and maintenance of processes to implement the configuration management and release activities as identified in the plan
Ensuring configuration management activities are discharged in accordance with the plan
Management of the release of and delivery of products to both internal and external customer
Work with internal stakeholders to identify their configuration management and reporting requirements and ensuring that these requirements are captured in the plans and processes
Leadership and coaching of the configuration management team
Interfacing with the platform configuration management team to ensure that platform configurations are accurately maintained
Degree qualified (RQF Level 6/SCQF Level 9) or equivalent experience in a technology, engineering or science related discipline
Member of a Professional Engineering Institute recognised by the Engineering Council
Experience of configuration and release management in a regulated industry (such as defence, aerospace, rail, oil & gas, nuclear or automotive)

The Configuration Management Team:
You will be involved in defining, establishing, approving, and maintaining the configuration and release management processes for software products and supporting artefacts for the Dreadnought program with the support of a team of engineers.
