Creative Director

Job Description JoVE is the world-leading producer and provider of science video solutions with the mission to improve scientific research and education. Millions of scientists, educators and students use JoVE for their research, teaching and learning. Our institutional clients comprise over 1,000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, including such leaders as Harvard, MIT, Yale, and Stanford. As a Studio Manager at JoVE, you will be responsible for overseeing, supporting, and managing the creative and design team to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate has extensive experience running internal studios, and is a creative marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment - a love for science is a plus
Managing an international studio team and overseeing the execution of each project
Planning the studio schedule and individual workloads of an in-house team of motion graphic designers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
Work closely with the Director of Marketing to understand business and project needs
Creating and implementing monthly deadlines, KPI’s, project goals, expectations, and workflows to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery
Proven track record in overseeing, supporting, and managing global and regional projects
~ Experience managing an international team of designers, driving quality and efficiency
~ Experience working with project management tools such as Asana to manage team schedules
~ 360-degree knowledge of all components of the creative process
