Reporting into the Assistant Director of Education and Inclusion , you will be responsible for a team of Specialist Advisory Teachers and working with experienced teachers and local schools to promote the inclusion of students with additional needs from ages 4 – 16.

Collaborate with both the Area Education and Inclusion Manager and other central Education Managers to foster the development and implementation of a teaching service aimed at improving educational success, inclusion, and student wellbeing.
Split responsibilities between overseeing the Southwest STIPs team and acting as a STIP Teacher to provide support to schools throughout the area.
Provide diverse daily support across Key Stages 1 – 4, including team management in collaboration with the Area Lead for STIPs and efforts to boost both service and educational quality.
Establish and sustain productive relationships in various locations to help schools minimize the educational performance gap among students.
Serve as a teacher employed directly by the Council, collaborating with schools, families, and other professionals to significantly influence student outcomes positively.
Must confirm that you have Qualified Teacher Status to teach in the UK.
Previous experience managing a school of Specialist Teachers for Inclusive Practice (STIPs)
Current or previous experience working within a mainstream school.
Experience supporting the inclusion of students.
