We’re recruiting a Recruitment Officer to work as part of a team to recruit young people to take part in our Prince’s Trust Team Programme.
At Groundwork we believe that every young person should have the chance to embrace exciting opportunities. We help 16 to 25-year-olds who are unemployed or struggling to transform their lives. Many of the young people we help are in, or leaving, care. They may be facing issues such as homelessness, suffering with their mental health or have been in trouble with the police.
Our programmes give young people the practical and financial support they need to stabilise their lives. We help them develop key skills while boosting their confidence and motivation to enable them to reach their full potential.
Transform Lives: – Working as part of our team you’ll empower disadvantaged young people, helping them to create some stability in their lives, develop key skills and build their confidence.
Support communities: – You’ll be collaborating with partner agencies and community organisations to make a significant contribution to the local community.
The role of the Programme Recruitment Officer is to promote the Prince’s Trust Team Programme within the local community and via key stakeholders, developing new and existing
The Programme Recruitment Officer must be enthusiastic and confident, able to engage diverse young people in a variety of settings before, during and after delivery periods. They must also have a pro-active attitude and experience of building relationships with clients and referral agents such as DWP work coaches, local authority and statutory services, schools and sourcing new referral opportunities.
Individuals should be adaptable and flexible to allow them to meet the targets set by Groundwork CLM and its partners. There will be requirements for specific training to ensure contract compliance and performance and opportunities to engage in other continuous professional development.
The Prince’s Trust Team Programme recruits and runs regular 12-week personal development programmes for young people aged 16-25 for the chance to gain new skills, earn a qualification and meet like-minded people.
