Cardiac Echo Physiologist

We have an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Cardiology department at the Alexandra Hospital. We are looking for motivated cardiac physiologist who is competent in a range of non-invasive diagnostic tests to join our team with the option to develop their skills in the area of Echocardiography and/or pacing. We deliver high quality training and support growth for our team to work towards professional accreditation. Perform as lead Physiologist in Cardiac Physiologist led Exercise Tolerance Tests. (Analyse complex data during CRM clinics and recognise when to re-programme appropriate parameters as per manufacturer and departmental policies and protocols for individual patients at device/pacemaker follow up clinics.
Prepare, hook up, remove, download, analyse the recordings, providing written reports on 24 hr Ambulatory ECG recorders, Blood Pressure recorders and Cardiac Event recorders, according to the departmental procedures and protocols.
e CRM or Echo and work towards accreditation in this area.

To be fully competent and responsible for carrying out a range of non-invasive cardiac investigations including analysis, reporting of results and clinical interpretation. The post will involve supervision and training of staff and will also include some organisational duties to assist with the smooth daily running of the department. BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent


Significant relevant previous experience as a Cardiac Physiologist
Previous experience across a broad range of Cardiology investigations

Previous experience in Echocardiography and CRM
