I'm working on behalf of a popular Leisure business in the Mexborough area who are looking for an Assistant Head of Finance to get stuck in and lead the Finance team This is a brilliant business to work for with lots of opportunities and amazing benefits Your responsibilities as Assistant Head of Finance: Oversee the financial management and reporting of each event function, including pre event forecast and post event results, providing detailed explanations for variances to plan. Review weekly reports for each event Prepare accurate and timely management accounts Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations Manage your team's performance with regular 1:1's and appraisal meetings Review the purchase, sales and general ledger postings to ensure the companies accounting procedures are being correctly adopted.What you NEED to have as a candidate: Experience managing and leading a team CIMA qualified is preferable but will look at ACA/ACCA qualified Hotel or Sports & Leisure experience desired Previous experience with ERP systems - knowledge/experience of Exchequer is advantageous Benefits: 22 days holiday PLUS bank holidays (this increases with length of service) Health Shields cash plan Complimentary golf days Discounted food on event days 2 annual event day passes 5% pension contributionTo apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
