About this role

We are looking for a Senior Program/Project Manager to lead a transformative global initiative across its network of 130+ operational companies (OpCos) in 20+ countries.

Reporting directly to the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer, this role will oversee a large-scale

program focusing on cloud-based solutions (primarily AWS), Media Asset Management (MAM) integrations, and the modernization of content workflows.

The role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management excellence, and global leadership to drive the effective delivery of innovative cloud and media solutions across Banijay’s vast ecosystem.

Duties

  • Program Leadership: Manage the efficient delivery of a large, complex technical program encompassing cloud solutions, MAM integrations, and next-generation content workflows.
  • Global Coordination: Act as the central hub to align stakeholders across Banijay’s 20+ countries and 130+ OpCos, ensuring consistent execution and adoption of cloud solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates, managing expectations, and aligning on business goals.
  • Project Execution: Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across departments and geographies.
  • Risk Management: Anticipate bottlenecks, balance business needs with technical constraints, and proactively mitigate risks at multiple levels.
  • Cloud Integration Expertise: Oversee the migration and integration of AWS infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity and scalability.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, roadmaps, and risk assessments, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Change Management: Guide and manage organizational change to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and workflows.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • 7+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional IT or cloud-based projects in a global context.
  • Proven experience with large-scale logistics and change management across multiple countries or entities.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects involving AWS infrastructure and Media Asset Management (MAM) systems.
  • Familiarity with global media workflows, including content creation, distribution, and monetization.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM) and cloud project delivery.
  • Experience with MAM platforms and integrating them into cloud environments.
  • Understanding of media workflows, including ingest, processing, and distribution pipelines.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Expertise in driving cross-functional collaboration and building alignment across stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Background in media, entertainment, or broadcast industries.
  • Knowledge of video processing, encoding, and transcoding workflows.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Change management certifications are a plus.

Reporting to

Chief Digital and Innovation Officer.

Contract Type

Permanent, full-time.

Hours

Monday-Friday – 9:30am - 6pm.

Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office).
