Introduction Our client is seeking a QC Technician to join a production environment focused on supporting scientific work across research, diagnostics, and clinical applications. This role operates within a stable and impactful setting where high-quality consumables are produced for use in essential laboratory processes. Job Description The QC Technician will be involved in the day-to-day workflow of manufacturing laboratory consumables, contributing to both production and quality operations. The position includes working with packaging and labelling equipment, handling documentation linked to production batches, and performing product checks throughout the manufacturing cycle. The role also requires collaboration with quality teams, upkeep of relevant equipment, and supporting the continuous movement of goods within the production area. Conduct examinations of materials during and after production to ensure quality standards are met.
Operate machinery used for labelling, sealing, and packaging.
Assist Quality Control teams with routine duties when required.
Maintain production tools, equipment, and workstations.
Contribute to general workflow support across the production area.
At least one year of experience in manufacturing, laboratory operations, or similar environments.
Strong communication skills and basic proficiency with MS Office.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
Preferred: familiarity with c GMP or regulated production environments.
Salary: approximately £12.65 per hour.
Hours: full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, daytime schedule.
Contract: 12-month assignment with possible extension.
Opportunity for cross-training and exposure to a meaningful scientific production environment.
