As a Data Labeller at TextMine, you will play a critical role in training and fine-tuning our AI models by accurately and consistently labelling legal contracts. Your meticulous work will directly impact the quality and performance of our AI algorithms, ensuring our platform delivers reliable results to our valued customers. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals passionate about advancing the legal tech industry.

Data Labelling: Review and analyse legal contracts to identify and label specific data points according to predefined categories, such as parties involved, terms, clauses, dates, and other relevant information.
Quality Control: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of labelled data by adhering to established guidelines and following best practices during the labelling process.
Data Analysis: Collaborate with the AI development team to provide feedback on data patterns, challenges, and improvements to optimize the performance of the AI model.
Maintain comprehensive and organized records of labelled data, documenting any issues or complexities encountered during the labelling process.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including AI engineers, data scientists, and project managers, to contribute to the overall success of the AI project.
Actively participate in regular meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and suggest strategies for enhancing the labelling process and overall project efficiency.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to legal document analysis and data labelling to improve skills and expertise.

Legal Background: A strong understanding of legal terminology, contract structures, and key components within various types of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and leases.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while labelling large volumes of data.
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
Tech-Savviness: Comfortable with technology and data labelling tools utilized in the project; previous experience with AI projects or data labelling tools is a plus.
Legal Data Privacy: Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality requirements when handling sensitive legal information.
A bachelor's degree in law or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Previous experience in legal research, document review, or data labelling is advantageous.
