The Production Co-ordinator will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of all works orders of the WIKA product range, to ensure delivery performance and the best utilisation of resources. The role is for a fixed term contract of a minimum of 3 months, which may be extended.Salary dependent on experience, 37 hour basic working week, with paid overtime available. Responsibilities: Schedule orders without exceeding available capacity and ensure on-time delivery (OTD) is always achievable, to ensure customer demands are met. Liaise with Purchasing department to ensure component deliveries are on track and meet production department requirements. Evenly distribute workload between resources to ensure maximum capacity, flexibility and response time. Liaise with relevant parties throughout the business, including Sales to ensure work is carried out appropriately to ensure customer demands are met. Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure orders are completed efficiently and meet the customers required delivery. To ensure that the WIKA Procedures and Work Instructions are adhered to. Work efficiently at all times, to maintain OTD of product. Provide support to other departments when required to do so. Maintain quality in line with respective Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and adhere to the Health and Safety policy of the business. Carry out any task that may from time to time, be required by Senior Management Team, in order to ensure the smooth running of all departments within the business. Our ideal candidate:

Experience in production planning, BOM creation and the use of an MRP system is essential. Strong IT skills are essential, knowledge of Microsoft D365 preferable. A

good communicator and work well in a team. Willing to be flexible, as the role can be multifunctional as workload demands and there may be a need to work additional hours. Experience in a quality-controlled or manufacturing environment is preferable. Positive, enthusiastic approach required, must be self-motivated and enjoy the opportunity to use own initiative. Must be organised and skilled in time management, able to effectively prioritise and manage workload.
