Your new role
In this pivotal role, you’ll take design projects from concept to completion. From initial sketches to manufacturing and commissioning, your expertise will shape the future. You’ll analyse existing mechanical systems, benchmark against industry standards, and drive efficiency improvements. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you create precise manufacturing drawings and comprehensive work instructions. Whether it’s 3D modelling or investigating maintenance issues, you’ll be hands-on and proactive.
What you'll need to succeed
Education: A degree in Design Engineering or a related discipline is essential. Your academic foundation will be complemented by at least 5 years of experience in the recycling and materials handling industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must. Additionally, your expertise in 3D CAD software (preferably Pro-Engineer or Creo) will set you apart. Attention to Detail: You’ll thrive on precision, ensuring that every design element aligns with customer expectations and internal quality standards.
