Care Coordinator (Nights) Diss Up to £14.50 per hour I am looking for a Care Coordinator to work in a former manor house in the village of Scole, near Diss. The home provides an elegant and peaceful setting for residential and dementia care. The home, set in extensive gardens, has been beautifully decorated and furnished to respect the historic building. In the role of Care Coordinator you will:

  • Play a critical role in ensuring that residents receive high-quality, person-centred care
  • Work closely with the care team to coordinate and manage care for residents, considering their individual needs, preferences, and goals
  • Be responsible for organising your shifts, administering and recording medication, liaising with health professionals and recording to the residents’ computerised care plans
  • Assist with the induction, training and supervision of support staff.
For this interesting and rewarding role you will need:
  • To have, or be working towards, NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Experience of supervising a care team
  • The ability to show empathy and understanding of the needs of the residents
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work as part of the team
  • A good eye for detail, and are organised and methodical
  • Flexibility around working schedules, roles and responsibilities
  • The ability to work night shifts, including alternate weekends
