Job Title: Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative

Hourly Wage: £13.80

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks including tipping vehicles, transferring stock, booking items using scanners and warehouse systems, loading vehicles for dispatch, and maintaining a quality-focused approach.

This role requires a counterbalance license and experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position involves a 60-40 split between forklift driving and warehouse operative duties.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate forklift to tip vehicles, transfer stock, and load vehicles for dispatch.

- Use scanners and warehouse systems to book stock accurately.

- Perform warehouse operative tasks such as wrapping palettes, picking items for production picks, and ensuring quality standards are met.

- Maintain a good eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements :

- Valid counterbalance forklift license is a must.

- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is preferred.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Legal right to work in the UK.

Work Schedule:

- Monday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

- Tuesday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Additional Notes:

- Fluency in English is a must have.

- This role involves a combination of forklift driving and warehouse operative tasks, with a focus on maintaining quality standards throughout all processes.
