Job Role
* Be proficient in maintaining aircraft to the appropriate standard * Being able to perform all maintenance tasks including but not limited to; * Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components * Assemble and install electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components and accessories, using hand tools and power tools * Replace and replenish aircraft fluids, including fuel, oils and lubricants * Prepare and paint aircraft surfaces * Remove or install aircraft components * Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance * Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, gaskets, and seals * Communicate with other workers to coordinate fitting and alignment of heavy parts, or to facilitate processing of repair parts * Inventory and requisition or order supplies, parts, materials, and equipment * Any other duties as reasonable requested by lead mechanics / licenced aircraft engineer * Ensure all paperwork is completed to the required standards and in line with the company MOE * Maintain awareness and knowledge of regulatory requirements and any associated changes in relation to EASA Part 145, Part M and Part 66 * Maintain the highest airworthiness, quality, safety and performance standards and ensure all company and legal requirements appertaining to aircraft maintenance and inspection are complied with * Hold and maintain a valid Company Aircraft Mechanic authorisation Qualification & Education: * A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar Experience: * Understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145 * Proven work history in a base maintenance/ aviation environment * Understanding of Health & Safety, Human Factors and Compliance requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr-
