Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract

Pay Rate: £31 per hour

Shift/Working Pattern: Full-time/Part-time

Duties of the Podiatrist

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis and implementation of individual treatment plans for patients
  • Provide specialist podiatry input to all patients that fall within their specialist field of expertise
  • Actively promoting self-management on all activities of daily living
  • Assess, diagnose and treat complex foot pathologies including at risk and high risk foot
  • Domiciliary and clinic based provision

Requirements of the Podiatrist

  • Qualified podiatrist i.e. Degree or equivalent within Podiatry
  • Recent experience within podiatry
  • Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK
  • NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Competent with vascular assessments, wound care, identifying when to referon.
