As an occupational therapist working within the Adult Community Therapy team, you will have the opportunity to champion the key values of your profession.


We understand that through purposeful & meaningful activity we can support people to rehabilitate, recover and self-care. Your caseload will be varied: you will have the opportunity to work alongside adults who are experiencing a range of long-term health conditions and acute deteriorations in their functional abilities. A key aspect of this will involve assessment of frailty and providing meaningful support for people with palliative health conditions.


We work closely with the wider multidisciplinary and multiagency teams to ensure that our patients receive high quality and equitable care.


To provide high quality occupational therapy interventions
To provide clinical leadership and supervision to members of the therapy team
To represent Adult Community Therapy in the context of the wider multidisciplinary and multiagency team
To work alongside the therapy leads in order to innovate and develop the therapy service

Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
Post graduate experience as a occupational therapist in rehabilitation with older people and or long term conditions and or community / community hospitals / in-reach
