About the Role

As an HSC Teacher at BGI School, you’ll have the opportunity to empower students to explore the fascinating world of business, unlock their potential, and equip them with skills for success beyond the classroom. You will lead the evolution of HSC education in our school, infusing fresh ideas and creative approaches into the curriculum. Your role will involve inspiring teaching, impactful curriculum development, and collaborative efforts across departments to embed business studies seamlessly into the broader educational experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision: Shape and steer the strategic direction of HSC within our curriculum, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to integrate innovative business education across the school.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with Subject Coordinators and colleagues across disciplines to foster a culture of collaboration and shared success.
  • Teaching Excellence: Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that ignite curiosity and encourage critical thinking, setting the standard for teaching excellence in HSC.
  • Resource Management: Oversee department resources, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and impactful use of the budget to support a vibrant learning environment.
  • Student Progress & Assessment: Monitor and assess student performance, using data-driven insights to provide tailored support and ensure every student achieves their full potential.
