Cwmbran Torfaen, United Kingdom Bron Afon Full time

We are looking for a highly motivated Manager to head up our Safeguarding Team.

An individual with a can-do attitude, able to work professionally, positively, and effectively with colleagues across Bron Afon, providing clear advice and guidance.

As a good communicator, you will be able to confidently network to develop relationships with a wide range of our partners.

As the designated business lead on all Safeguarding matters, you will ensure that robust safeguarding systems are in line with both legislative and best practice expectations.

Having experience in both child and adult safeguarding, you will be able to lead on internal reviews, investigations and deliver training, as well as implementing and updating all relevant policies and procedures.

You should have detailed knowledge of anti-social behaviour legislation, gained ideally but not necessarily from within a housing context, as well as experience handling high risk safeguarding issues, multi-agency works and domestic abuse.

With a sound understanding of the balance between support and enforcement in dealing with victims and perpetrators of ASB (Anti-Social Behaviour) you will drive your team to deliver an excellent service to our communities and build effective partnerships with key local stakeholders.

The ability to use initiative and sound judgment, to make informed decisions or recommendations and work under pressure to tight deadlines is essential.

You will be digitally proficient with excellent written and analytical skills. Able to produce clear reports, interpreting data and deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences.

If this sounds like you then we would really like to hear from you.

When submitting your CV, please remove all personal details for your application to be considered.

We will be required to carry out an enhanced DBS for the candidate that is appointed to this role.
