The Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer at AllPoints Fibrewillenhance our team by providingexpertise in the design, development, and implementation of projects in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications and an ability to customise them to help our business become more secure and efficient. Extensive knowledge of cloud maintenance, optimisation and delivery are essential, including a solid understanding of on-premises infrastructures too. You will be reporting to the Cloud & Infrastructure Manager.

What you will be doing:

  • Modifying and improving existing systems for optimal performance.
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
  • Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
  • Identify, analyse, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
  • Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Interact with IT and Business stakeholder, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on project needs

About you:

You will have a proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, developers and subject matter experts. You will have a great deal of knowledge and experience in developing and implementing cloud technologies. Microsoft and AWS certifications are desirable.
