Position: Handyman Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (OTE £45,000 with overtime) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am till 5 pm (40-hour week; anything over is at x 1.5) Location: Huntingdon Job Description: Recruit Mint is actively seeking a Handyman to join our esteemed client, a leader in water treatment in the UK. Based in Huntingdon, our client is expanding their business and has a new vacancy for a Handyman, servicing sites such as schools, care homes, and hospitals. Key Responsibilities for the Handyman: Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) Conduct closed system sampling Descale shower heads Service Thermostatic Mixing Valves (TMVs) Configure pipework Perform monthly monitoring Descale calorifiers Refurbish water tanks, including elements such as linings, coatings, lids, insulation, and insect screens (full training will be provided for the right candidate) Experience and Qualifications Required CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme) Previous Handyman experience is essential Benefits: Company Van + Fuel Card Mobile Allowance Tools Provided Overtime: Saturdays at x 1.5 and Sundays at x 2 (overtime is paid as a full day rate regardless of time spent on site)
