Sheridan Maine is collaborating with a rapidly growing organisation based in the Heathrow area to find a skilled and ambitious Group Reporting Manager. Our client, a leading entity within their industry, is seeking an individual who is driven, analytical, and possesses a strong understanding of management reporting principles to join their dynamic team.

 
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management reporting across the group. This pivotal role requires meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Group Reporting Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the FP&A function for the Group, contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

 
Responsibilities of the Group Reporting Manager include:

  • Overall responsibility for the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for all divisional entities within the group including P&L, balance sheet, forecast, budgets and cashflow reporting.
  • Provide accounting guidance to ensure compliance with UK GAAP and FRS 102 standards.
  • Collaborate with divisional accounting teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiencies.
  • Assist the senior leadership team by offering financial support in strategic initiatives through in-depth analysis and reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures for ROI, monitor progress, and manage cashflows.
  • Preparation of annual business plans and 3-year numbers.
  • Provide Ad hoc support on financial planning, change control and financial management processes when necessary.
  • Collaborate as a strategic ally with all departments and divisions as necessary, coordinating with key personnel to ensure timely incorporation of operational data into management accounts.

The successful Group Reporting Manager will require:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.).
  • Proven experience in management reporting and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365, IFS or other well-known accounting systems is advantageous.
