What is the day-to-day of the role:

* Performing and interpreting a range of laboratory tests on blood and other body fluid.

* Maintaining and troubleshooting laboratory equipment.

* Record keeping and quality control.

* Providing results and advice to medical staff.

* Working as part of a supportive team of Biomedical Scientists and Medical Lab Assistants.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* HCPC registration

* 3+ years' experience as a Biomedical Scientist.

* Specialist qualification (IBMS portfolio/ blue book)

* Automated Haem/ Coag (SysmexXN/CS analysers).

* Blood Transfusion (BioRadIH500 analysers), LIMS (Winpath Enterprise), QMS (Q-Pulse).
