Our Mission Planning Team are ready for all this situations Would youlike to join them?

To be incorporated to a consolidated team for development ofprojects. Its main functions would be to support software developments,validation and verification in the scope of projects of typical softwarelifecycle and for maintenance projects in the Mission Planning division.Specification and design based on the user requirements is also part of theactivity. Also it is expected from the candidate the ability to have aninterest in to have a continuous learning of the mission planning relatedmatters. It is not expected, but valuable, to have knowledge of Spaceapplications standards (project lifecycle & documentation) . Interest ininnovative solutions and passion for space are essential for this position.

Weare looking for Mission Planning Engineers to join our UK team to work on newmission planning activities for both the commercial and institutional spacesectors.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

Within this team you will work on projects developing novel mission planning solutions for state-of-the-art studies as well as working on GMV’s software product suite. Initial functions will include designing and developing software (in Java and other technologies), investigating software and integration issues and supporting client meetings. You will also support activities to improve the visualisation of data and improvements to the graphical interfaces.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for Software Engineers with a background in cloud technologies who have an interest in working in the Space sector.

We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:

  • Java programming - REACT or Angular frameworks,Redux
  • Cloud technologies, including the different platforms and cloudservice providers, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google CloudPlatform
  • Development of REST interfaces and service-oriented architectures
  • Spring Boot/Tomcat
  • SVN/Git
  • C++ programming
