My Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of the warehouse and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods.
  • Ensure accuracy in shipments and inventory transactions.
  • Maintain Master Data on Sage 200.
  • Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities.
  • Manage stock, including replenishment requests, device builds, and reporting.
  • Maintain records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to gather customer requirements and act as a liaison between manufacturers and Acrelec colleagues.
  • Work and communicate with internal teams daily.
  • Perform various administrative duties related to specific customers, including sales order creation, invoicing, and goods received.
  • Process and administer imports and exports, including understanding HMRC Customs Excise documentation.
  • Identify areas for improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
  • Advise on stock availability and estimated time of arrival of goods to customers.
  • Assist sites with logistics problems from deliveries.
  • Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems.
  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Proficiency in warehouse software packages (Sage 200) and MS Office (Excel).
  • Strong customer service ethic and excellent organizational skills.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.
  • Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data.
  • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a start-up/evolving technology business.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to reprioritize at short notice.
  • Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
