Cloud Security Consultant

We are looking for a Security Consultant with extensive experience in providing end-to-end security assurance for business projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in threat assessments, architectural design reviews, third-party risk assessments, RFP security requirements, network security, IDAM projects, ransomware remediation, pen test scoping, and HLD/LLD reviews.
Responsibilities:
- Perform threat modelling to identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Assess high and low-level architectural designs to identify security risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Provide security requirements for RFPs and score RFPs based on security criteria.
- Conduct assessments of third-party security posture to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Create scopes for penetration testing, organize pen tests, review results, and oversee remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with project teams to agree on specific security controls and gather evidence of implementation.
- Identify and articulate security risks to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provide input into testing strategy by defining specific security use cases.
- Contribute to service acceptance criteria and warranty by ensuring security requirements are met.
- Identify use cases for security monitoring and alerting to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Understand security tooling and facilitate the handover of necessary information to operations teams for ongoing maintenance and monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a security consulting role with a focus on end-to-end security assurance for business projects.
- Strong understanding of security principles, standards, and best practices.
- Experience with threat modelling, architectural design reviews, RFP security requirements, third-party risk assessments, network security, IDAM projects, ransomware remediation, pen test scoping, and HLD/LLD reviews.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are preferred.
