Trade Marketing Executive

Location: Hybrid (3 days London Head Office)

Full time Role, 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Digital Marketing team, Social and Email team, Client teams, Founders of client businesses.

The Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for developing and executing our client's marketing strategy and calendar.

Lead the execution of the marketing calendars for our clients by delivering best-in-class offline and online presence and identifying growth opportunities, while cultivating long-lasting customer relationships with our clients.

Working in partnership with our clients and the Glow Bright founder, the Trade Marketing Executive is responsible for enhancing consumer experience and connection to our clients brand shaping and driving bespoke omni-channel marketing plans to ensure strong commercial momentum.

You will provide the business with visibility on marketing plans and direction onto opportunities and risks. You will monitor marketing performance identifying best practices and influencing future plans, driving revenue growth through marketing.

Be the marketing point of contact for all clients, ensuring a smooth relationship and unlocking the best possible efficiencies.
• Act as the point of contact for marketing direction working with key stakeholders.
• Develop strong relationships with the client’s head office teams and in-premises teams, to execute best-in-class activation, to drive Brand and Commercial KPI success.
• Develop relationships with third-party teams to ensure we maximize all sales and marketing opportunities, specifically building relationships with teams linked to channel KPIs.
• Work cross-functionally to gain insight and potential ideas from other channels, to make ongoing improvements to Marketing activation plans.

Marketing calendar creation and planning

· Work with the founder and our clients to deliver the annual Marketing calendars, in-line with client KPIs - drive new client footfall/traffic, increase AOV, acquire new names via CRM and build ongoing customer loyalty.

· Work with teams to ensure maximum PR, digital and social coverage for product and treatment marketing campaigns and to build client acquisition and retention through bespoke marketing campaigns.

· Make sure the digital and CRM part of the marketing calendar is properly briefed in to the Digital and CRM team.

· Liaise with the client teams to execute the marketing plan.

· Commercials

• Set up best practices and reporting systems in order to provide the business with a consolidated view of the marketing plan's efficiencies and effectiveness.

· Support the collation of channel commercials. Keep all the commercial trackers up to date and be aware of the ROI for our clients, including spend across Digital, Social, Eventing, VM and CRM.

• Analytics: conduct competitor audits and benchmarking, trend tracking to identify risks and opportunities and shape marketing plans accordingly

· Track all marketing spend, send invoices to clients on spend.

· Track the ROI of all promotional activities including promotions and events, implementing campaign evaluation.

· Monitor promotional inventory, providing analysis of sales performance vs. target.

· Creation of monthly campaign assets and posters in line with the marketing calendar.

· Ensure strong visual brand presence in our client’s businesses to maximise brand experience and promotional activation opportunities

· Assist in reporting on client visual adherence to brand guidelines.

· Assist and lead in client refreshes and new builds.

· Work with external agencies to ensure the implementation of all new build requirements.

· Keep abreast of key competitor look and feel to ensure we are at the forefront of competitive intelligence and communicate this internally.

· Ensure regular site audits happen with performance reports to be shared with the business.

Educated to degree level, preferably Marketing or Business orientated.

3+ years’ Experience of working in a channel marketing, brand or trade marketing role

· Must have interest in retail and service-led brand experiences

· Creative thinker, to adopt new post CV19 world, finding new ways to engage customers and excite/delight

· Proficient in MS Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Creative and able to use Canva and Adobe programs

· Strong commercial acumen with experience on determining return on investment and confidently managing marketing spend, with ability to track and report monthly on departmental budgets

Communication: ability to convey information clearly and concisely both in person, via correspondence and over the phone, and express oneself well and professionally and listen to others and ensure understanding of information.

· Precision: ability to pay close attention to detail, write clearly and legibly, acceptable standards appropriate to the position in English and Math, and have an appropriate and acceptable level of record- keeping and routine paperwork.

· Planning: ability to develop strategies, define processes and procedures, and monitor plans.

· Able to work effectively under pressure, juggling many projects with a level of autonomy.
