Electrical Design Engineer Chapel-en-le-Frith

~ Torque Consulting are on the hunt for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their highly skilled team to support Junior Engineers, Drive improvement in quality and efficiency and create and maintain electrical drawings.

Specification of electrical components/wiring/cabling
Control panel design
Create and maintain electrical drawings and documentation
Support junior engineers, installation team and end customers
Drive improvements in quality and efficiency within the technical department
Work within company quality and safety procedures

Qualified to HNC Level or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or similar
Comfortable with variable frequency drives and PLC’s
Capable of using CAD software to create electrical schematics
Computer literate with strong working knowledge of Excel
Confident discussing projects with various stakeholders
Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
~Experience working in the crane/hoist sector or similar material handling environments
