Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Receivable department.
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Coordinate and complete annual audits.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Accounts Receivable Manager' should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience in a similar role within a similar industry if possible.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.
